Corral Predator-Proofing Programs

The Snow Leopard Conservancy’s largely successful predator-proofing project helps local communities save snow leopards by securing livestock pens that otherwise invite invasions that can wipe out a family’s entire herd and income. With this program, shepherds are changing their attitudes toward the snow leopard, and in conjunction with our homestay programs are diversifying their incomes.
